Earlier this October, Roosevelt School proudly celebrated the Week of Respect, highlighting kindness, empathy, and positive character building across all grade levels. This year, the spotlight shone brightly on our 6th grade students, who stepped up as true leaders to deliver meaningful, engaging lessons to classrooms throughout the entire school.
Under the guidance and mentorship of Mr. Kenny, small groups of 6th graders pushed into classrooms across every grade. Armed with enthusiasm and impressive presentation skills, our student leaders utilized the classroom Smart Panels to present age-appropriate discussions about respect, inclusion, and positive behavior.
Our 6th grade role models didn't just teach respect—they embodied it every step of the way, showing that leadership starts with a caring heart and a helping hand.
