On September 11th, all students began the day with a moment of silence to show respect for those who lost their lives 23 years ago.  We also reflected and honored the many heros who did whatever they could to help.  We then followed up by the pledge of allegiance.  Through the day, many students worked on projects dedicated to the first responders, local heroes, and gaining a better understanding of the special differences that make us unique.  Here is a picture of some fourth graders who saluted our very own SLEO, Officer Locarno who protects us daily, and was once a member of the Ridgefield Park Police Department and a US Marine.
